2nd Birthday Outing :)

Meet up for dinner with Evelyn and Terry :) Catch up with each other, talk rubbish etc with them at Marche just now. The food was ok but variety not as much as the branch in Heeren. Stayed there for quite a while then we proceed to walk around looking at TV cos Terry wanna to get one.

After all the shopping, Kel drove all of us to Selegie area, at first we actually wanna go to Mr Bean but when we reached, evelyn and me went over to the opp and saw the Min Ge Cafe and another broadgame cafe, decided to go either one instead of the usual coffee cafe. Ended up in the Min Ge Cafe cos got songs to listen etc. Its turned out to be quite good actually :) Will go back there again :)

Busy Day

Had a busy day today.

Did quite alot I think in a day. So just a short one first, shall write a more detail and with pics soon :)

Today, I had a early birthday lunch with my mum n sister :) Sis got me a Swensens Ice-cream cake when we lunched at Swensens this afternoon and they even sang me a birthday song hehe :) Took a few pics too :)

Later in the evening, we went to the zoo to watch a outdoor movie by the lake. Wasnt a good nor bad experience but I think this is quite a good thing to do with the family and kids :) You see quite alot of ang mos too :) The whole thing lasted for about 3 hours. By the time, we got out of the zoo, we were all sweaty kekeke.

My Newly Made Skirt

Afew weeks ago went to the Chinatown with my maid to get some cloths cos both of us wanna to sew some skirts :)

So here is the newly made skirt by my maid and me with the new sewing machine that Kel bought for me as birthday present on Sun (will take and post the sewing machine pic when I free :P).

Belated Post on JB Trip

Went to JB, Malaysia last week with parents, nephew, maid and Kel. Parents wanna go to temple and maid says should bring my nephew along their to bai bai too so ended up all go together lor. The trip to the temple was fast, after which dad drove to one of the shopping centre which we never go before to do some shopping cos me the shopping princess wants to shop hahaha!!!!

The shopping centre was quite big but nothg really caught my eyes aprt from the 2 pieces of clothes that I bought in the ELLE shop. Pics as below :) So happy that I am 1 size smaller :)

Another Interview

Had another interview yesterday afternoon.

Went for an interview yesterday afternoon. Thought I perform quite ok except for a question I didnt really know if I answer correctly. Not sure why there's 2 parts of interviews by different people. First round was with 2 guys, 2nd round was with 2 gers. Strange right? Anyway now wait for the answers. Might not be able to get it cos I am without any sales and marketing experience!!!

Shopping and Gathering

Yesterday afternoon was out shopping with Sharon at Raffles City, if you have read the post on Crabtree and Evelyn haha you will know what I bought yesterday. Both of us were just so good in shopping hahaha :P Be it in SG or overseas kekeke we never get tired ok at times we do lah like the time we went to KL, but we were only tired cos we walked for like 5 hrs or 6 before we stopped to grab our dinner leh :P Anyway most of the stuffs is in the Crabtree post and Sharon's blog kekeke :P

After sending Sharon, this time round didnt sent her directly to her plc downstair lah, drove her to her opp instead cos got to go and fetch Kel from his camp and he was already waiting and we are meeting my aussie frens for dinner at 6.30 pm in Suntec kekeke and by the time I reached Suntec, we were already 30 mins late, sorry Wenjing and Lynn not on purpose one hor cos traffic was heavy too else we will reached at 6.45 pm :)

Dinner was at Kenny Rogers, food was ok. We chatted for quite a long time to almost 10 pm, had a good catch up with each other and think the next time we meet will be KTV session :)

Finally, got my hands on C & E face products, they were bought into the market just a week ago and here I am getting my hands on them but not the complete set yet. Will be getting more next time with my sis.

Ok I know it is not even 24 hrs after I have my first round of spree in C & E but I just cant help it but this time round I bought my sis and mum too :) hehehe want to spend must spend together then shiok mah hor :P So here is my 2nd round of spree in C & E :P

This time round only one bag cos I asked them to squeeze everything into one bag as I do not want to carry so many bags around while I am shopping, very ma fan :P

I got most of the products and the whole set of the routine set this time round. Imagine how much I spent in just 2 days *faintz* but I love them :)

So in total for 2 rounds of spree and of course at other times for one or two product within Jul itself, the bill came to about 1K *faintz* but this is just a girl thing which guy will not be able to understand :P

Went to C & E yesterday with Sharon :) cant help but have another round of spree there again cos I got a birthday vou from them cos my birthday is just round the corner. So with the 30% discount, I just cant help it but went in again to get more stuffs from them. I am just so big fan of C & E :)

The free gifts is little bottles of scent powder :) If you want to buy I think they cost about $40 or $50 not so sure but then I think they do not sell them in small little bottles anyway. Their small bottles like travel set are usually meant to give away as gift :)

See the samples above? They are in pinky too :) Was asking them for the samples for Sharon so that she could try them but they too give me a set hahaha can bring to overseas liao :P travel friendly :)

The stuffs I bought


I stock up their cleanse, toner and scrub with the 30% discount. Of course didnt forget to get my fav perfume, body cream and their travel prefume too :) See that how much I spent yesterday but happily hahaha :P

Basically, their products are good on my face, I love their cleanser, scrub, day & night cream (day cream come with SPF) and their intensive eye cream. Their body cream is good too and their perfume scent is nice too :) aiya actually all is good lah those that I buy one.

Their face products, I got almost the whole range. Those few that I didnt get due to I felt they are of little or no effect on my face so I dont get, dont want to waste money :)

Quality time or Quantity Time

What is the meaning of Quality time and Quantity Time for a couple? What do you think is more impt?

If you ask me this question, my reply will be:

Quality Time - Spending little time yet this little time still allows the couple to understand each other, talking to each other etc.

Quantity Time - Spending time together often like 4-5 times per week?

Which is more impt, to me both are impt for couple but if really got to choose maybe I would choose Quality Time because even if you spend Quantity Time time, you might still not able to get to understand your partner cos there isnt any suitable environment that allows the couple to talk their heart out, everywhere there go might have ppl or things like TV, computer to distrub one of both partner attention. While have Quality time without any distraction will be good even if it is just an hr or 2 which I think maybe I really need in my case.

Reflection on the above

Seriously, I feel in my relation communication is lacking, quantity time is lacking and most impt quality is also lacking.

I think I communicate and spend more quality time with my buddy if want to compare. Take Sharon and Gen for example, maybe I dont meet them often (maybe for Gen) but we communicate alot, and spending quality time together too (even for friends I think this applies too).

Actually got more to write but then I am worry that Kel's ******* might be reading cos Kel got my blog link in his computer or when he uses other com to surf this site so I save the rest as draft. Even this I got to be careful, why cant Kel be more sensetive to all these?

HK Trip Day 3 - 30 Jul 06

Third day in HK!! And finally no more rain!!! Yeah!! But damm hot :(

Started the day with delicious breakfast oppsite our hotel :) Finally really something nice :)

Today, we be going to Sheung Wan and Central, Hong Kong Island visiting all the tourist spots of course :) Most of the spots we went as below, others include Soho etc.

Western District (Sheung Wan) Details from website

Western Market in Sheung Wan is a handsomely renovated Edwardian building filled with Chinese handicraft stores and fabric shops. It is situated at the corner of Connaught Road and Morrison Street, Sheung Wan. The area to the west is famous for its small Chinese-style shops selling dried seafood and medicinal herbs.

Cat Street bazaar is best known for stalls and shops selling antiques, such as watches, old coins and stone carvings.

The area is also home to many interesting Chinese herbal medicine stores.

Two parallel streets in Central known as "The Lanes", Li Yuen Street East and Li Yuen Street West are a riot of stalls hawking everything from inexpensive clothing, watches and costume jewellery to luggage and shoes. Situated between Queen's Road Central and Des Voeux Road Central, the market is open daily from 10am to 7pm

Stanley Street is known for its range and reasonably priced photographic equipment. Hollywood Road winds above the Central business district and is Hong Kong's antiques row. Farther west towards Sheung Wan is a bustle of sidewalk hawkers on Central's stepped "ladder" streets.

Our first stop will be the Western Market, which both of us only spent like 10 mins in the building of 3 levels. Nothing much inside, so I just not sure why is this listed as one of the tourist spot. Basically, I felt most of the tourist spots listed in the mag are bo liao and waste time areas.

After walking thru roads after roads, streets after streets, we arrived at Soho with the help of the longest escalator in HK or is it the world or Asia? Nmind, anyway, Soho I suppose will be much more of a happening area at night than in the day time.

After we done with all the markets and spots listed in all the mag we got our hands on, we walked thru the shopping centre that house the branded brand like LV, Dior etc. There is this particular building that I love cos all the brand I love is there, the LV store is a 3 level store I think or 4 level cant remember. And the Dior store is big too compare with the one in Sin.

By the time we done with all the shopping, it was already late afternoon. So we decided to go back to the hotel for a short rest and than out for dinner.

Dinner was just a simple affair of Wanton Noodles at HK$10 per bowl. The wanton is nice but not the noodles so I only finished my 3 wantons and left the noodles behind.
