New Year Eve
Today is New Year Eve!!! End of 2005!! Times seem to fliesssssss :(
Went to watch King Kong in the afternoon at Bishan J8. The show was 3 hrs!!! Hmm the show well dont think it's that good afterall and infact my bf fall aslp quite a few times during the show.
After the show, bf gave Jinquan a call and meet up his polymates for dinner at Bugis. The dinner a big disappointment too!!! Bad service and u called a anything they either let u wait for super long or just tell you dont have any. Saw the boss and start to complain to her. When we paid the bill, the boss gave us a 30% discount and no service charge for the meal. Buay tahan this kind of service!!!
Reached home ard 10 plus, what a new yr eve right!! No countdown etc hai~~~ just like any other day!!
High Tea
Met Huimin and Guek Hong for high tea today. 6 months didnt see them, kind of miss them esp when started thinking back to those times we spent together in Brissy, really miss them lots.
Zoo
Bought my neices and nephews to the zoo today :) I think the last time I went to the zoo was with my ex. The zoo had really change quite abit, the ticket office etc had been renovated too. Look so new and bright now.
The kids was so happy looking at all the animals in the zoo, think they really had fun apart frm not being able to play at the playground in the children world cos it was raining so heavily while we were having lunch at KFC there.
Interview
Had my interview this morning. Was so nervous that I cant really answer the question without much thinking. Lucky the HR was quite understanding when I explain to her that I am nervous.
The interview I think should be quite alright but got to wait for 2 weeks before I got the answer frm them. Hope everything went well and be able to go for the 2nd round of interview.
Back Home!!!
Reached SIN at about 8 plus last night. So co-incident saw one of the staff frm NTU, was on the same flight with him.
On the way back home, I feel kind of strange, maybe its been so long since I return to SIN that why the things in SIN seem so unfamiliar. Hope will get use to the life back here soon else I'll be missing Brissy.
Had breakfast with my parents this morning, so long never had breakfast with them, really great to see them again.
Back to SIN in 2 Hours!
I going the the airport in 2 hrs time!!! Not sure if I got any chance to come back to brissy again. I'll certainly be missing Brissy cos afterall I have called Brissy my home for almost 2 yrs. The freedom I had here, my uni life etc. How I wish I could stay here :(
Early Christmas Dinner :)
Spent the whole afternoon with David and his 2 frens from SIN. Actually was planning to go shopping at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre with darling but when we called David to ask him to send us to the airport tomorrow, he asked if it was possible that we bring his 2 frens around cos he is not that familiar with Brissy.
Had lunch with them at West End then bought them to Westfield Shopping Centre at Logan. Walked around, but the girls didnt get anything, I think they are tired after the flight in the morning. hehehe.
At night, darling and I went to Rydges Hotel for our Christmas Dinner (Seafood Buffet). We were abit disappointed with the food maybe we werent that hungry too hahaha. But anyway after the dinner we walked around Southbank cos it was my last night in Brissy. Wonder if I will be going back there anytime :P There were Chirstmas celebration there, fireworks and stuffs. Feel kind of bu se de cos been in Brissy for like 1.5 yrs, so used to the life already, mixed feeling I suppose :(
Short holiday
Went over to Gold Coast for a short holiday. Was planning only to stay for a night but ended up with 2 night instead cos we were so comfy over there that we decided to extend the stay just to relax more.
Didnt really do much over there, just simply relax, walk ard and of course eat hehehe but nothg much to eat lah so normal food. Wanna to get some gifts for my friends but hmmm nothg to buy!!! But then we really enjoyed sitting at the balcony in the hotel room. The wind was great and the view was gd!!!
Parents back to SIN
Parents went back to SIN this afternoon, so now left me and darling till the 24th dec then we be back to SIN. Never knew that the flight back would be so full even the seats we got on 24th dec were on the waiting list.
Darling just called and booked the room for tomorrow at Courtyard Marriott Hotel, Surfer Paradise, Gold Coast. We gonna stay there for a night to celebrate Christmas :) Really looking forward for it before we go back to SIN.
Convocation!!!
I finally graduated :) Convation is finally over on the 16th Dec 05 :) Been feeling so excited for the whole day till I received my cert on the stage cos my ceremony was the last ceremony on the very last day of the graduation week :P
There were so many ppl at the UQ Centre, lots of happy parents including mine :) lots of frens and of course lots of exciting grads waiting for their turn on stage :P

My parents is finally here!!! Yeah!!! So happy to see them when they reached this morning :) Their plane reached here at abt 6.40am but they did not come out frm the gate till like 8am!!! I tot what happen :P
And another happy thing today hahaha finally sold my car!!! Yeah now can return back to Sin with no worriesssss liao :P
I wan to SHOP!!!
I wanna to go shopping so badly!!!! I just want to buy things, lots of things!!! I dunno why ever since I'm back frm Syd I just feel that I didnt shop enough and didnt bought the things I wanna so now I keep on thinking of shopping!!! Shopping in countries like Hong Kong, Bangkok etc :(

Convocation in 4 Days!!!!
My graduation is finally arriving in 4 days time :) Finally after so long of waiting, the day is coming which is FRIDAY!!! YEAH!!!!!
Went to get my clothes for the graduation on Friday, bought a blue top and a black skirt :) Not bad on me actually hahaha :> Maybe take a pic later and post it up but for now I'm just too lazy even to blog :P so talk more later when I am not so lazy kekekke
Sydney Day 5 - 28 Nov 2005 (Last day)
Today is the last day of our stay in Syd, will be taking the 6 pm plane back to Brissy :)

After packing and checking out of the hotel, we did some last minutes shopping in the city. Nothing much to buy too cos maybe too tired already so no mood to shop. After a while, we made our way back to the nice Jap resturant again for our lunch before making our way back to hotel to take our luggage then to the airport.

Sydney Day 4 - 27 Nov 2005
Been raining since the night before, feeling so sianz when we stepped out of our hotel door :( but then cant do much too but to carry on with what we planned. First stop to get the best donuts that everyone says is nice :) pics below.

After the Syn Opera House, we took a walk to The Rocks which is just like 15 mins away. Lucky the market there was open unlike the one at Opera House is close due to the rain. Lots of ppl were at the market. Took us about 20 mins to finished the market afterwhich we took a bus back to Chinatown for lunch cos cant seem to find anything nice at Circular Quay.
After lunch we went back to Circular Quay again to take the ferry to Star City Casino. On the way, we pass by the Harbour Bridge and Wenjing took more pics on them.

Sydney Day 3 - 26 Nov 2005 (Part 2)
Saw this church while we were walking to HRC so we decided to visit this pretty church after HRC. And so coincident that when Wenjing and me walked in, there was this wedding getting started, so both of us find a seat and sat thru the ceremony.

The couple is a chinese couple, hehehe coincident rite, I was expecting an ang mo couple but turned out to be chinese. The bride was pretty in person so tht means she dont look nice on photos kekeke.

Reflection from the Wedding:I sat thru 3/4 of the ceremony, this is the first time I go thru this kind of ceremony cos I missed Sharon's wedding that I wanna so much to go to, nearly booked a ticket just to fly back but then I know if I go back mean I cant come back to brissy liao.
Anyway back to the wedding in Syd, I was feeling so touched and envy, I nearly cried but of course I didnt lah so pai sey. I not sure why am I feeling this way but I just felt so happy for the couple, so touched etc. Am I too emotional??? Someone please tell me??? And I am thinking when will it be my turn to be the one standing there...... I counted at least another 3-5 yrs *faintz* When Wenjing and I got out of the church, I asked her what her feeling, and haha she her feeling is the same as me wor. So I think this must be a girl thing after all :) My darling's thinking is diff cos when I ask him what does he think, he says why touch when he dont even know the couple!! Arghhhh!!!

After the visit to the church, we decided to go to the police station to make a report on the pickpocket before dinner at the Japanese resturant that we saw on the second day and yeah it's the best meal so far!!!

Sydney Day 3 - 26 Nov 2005 (Part 1)
My 3rd day in Sydney :) Middle of the trip already, time really filessssss.
Our first stop of the day was the Paddy Market at Chinatown. First impression of the market GREAT!! Finally a good market for me to shop, just like those market in Bangkok, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Lots of things to see and somemore, most of the stall were operated by Chinese :) But arghhhhh 25 mins later, my fren realised that she was being pickpocketed!!! She lost her LV wallet and all her cash which total to about $1200 Sin dollars *faintz* So that ended the paddy market shopping where I onli managed to get a donkey door plate :( no clothes, no bags nothg!!! We lefted the market to someplace more quiet so that she can call her dad to cancel away her credit card and also to ANZ bank for her bankcard etc. All those took about 45 mins. Poor girl hai~~~
After all the calls she made, we made our way down to the Sydney Fish Market for lunch. It took us just 5 mins to reach but the tram cost us $2.90 one way to go there!!! Kaoz damm expensive!!! The seafood there were all very fresh and lots of ppl. We managed to find a seat before more ppl came along. The food wasnt that great cos it was all fried, if you want something nice you have to buy the seafood and bring it home and cook it yourself which we cant!!!!

After lunch, we travelled down to Paddington Market where we have the impression that it was the best market in Syd but to our disappointment, it was the worst market, nothing much to see infact. We were done with the market within 10 mins :( So since it was just a short while there, I decided that we should go to Hard Rock Cafe in Sydney to take a look and maybe get the collar pin for Jeff but ended up din get cos there no special or nice one.

Sydney Day 2 - 25 Nov 2005
Blue Mountain here we come!!! This morning was raining heavily, altot we knew that we might not be able to catch a good view of the blue mountain three sisters but we still go ahead what what we planned.
We catched a train frm the Central Station to the Katoomba Station which took us 2 hrs to reach. Lucky the train ride was not as boring cos we were talking and laughing away and also taking photos :)

It was still raining when we reached blue mountain, what a sad thing right :( but nmind it ok, we took the explorer bus ard the blue mountain attraction and darling and Wenjing took the world steepest train while I dont dare to. Lucky I didnt took it cos Wenjing said that when it goes down it was just like a free fall down and they reached the bottom within seconds.
We decided that we will not wait anymore so took the bus again and went to the three sisters stop, lucky we were able to see the three sisters hehehe cos the whole day the haze covered the view which does not allow us to see anything :( Ok let the photos so the talking :P
