HK Trip Day 1 - 28 Jul 06

Finally, after so long and Sharon interest on my HK trip, I decided to blog on my HK trip. Was kind of lazy to blog as hmmm think there wasnt anything much to blog about anyway. So I suppose it will be more pics than words, just too lazy to put it in words :)

Above is the pic of us, taken by one of the air stewardess, she was really cute, saw me trying to take a pic on my own, so she asked me wanna her to help :)

We landed at HK International Airport at around 2.30 PM, surprised to see lots of ppl waiting to transit at the airport. First, we went to the hotel airport tranfer counter to ask about the bus but the guy at the counter advise us to take a cab instead cos he said it was cheaper, so both of us walked to the cab counter and saw there was sign that put airport to our hotel area is about HK$300 but guessed what? It cost us a FREAKING HK$500 when we reached our hotel!!! TMD!!! I was like cursing and swearing that we should take the hotel limo instead cos it cost only HK$440 for that!!! Damm!! Reached HK for less than 30 mins we got tricked by cab driver!!

Us at HK International Airport. Super windy cos it been raining and was drizzling at that moment. Posted by Picasa

On reaching our hotel, we found that our hotel is actually quite good even when it is a 3.5 stars hotel. 3.5 stars hotel but it served us with 6 stars hotel service from Day 1 to our last day stay in the hotel!! Damm good service!!!

Anyone who wants to try out this hotel when in HK, this is the website: http://hongkong.eatonhotels.com/

Our hotel room, very comfy and cosy :) Posted by Picasa We stayed in this room for a night before we were being changed to another room which is slightly bigger on a highest floor cos the room we requested was not available when we arrived on Day 1.

Post this pic cos I tot I looked really slim in the mirror :) hehehe Posted by Picasa

Our hotel room key :) Very good hotel altot only 3.5 stars but it was good from service to everything. And it was not expensive too. I will stay in this hotel if I go HK again :) Posted by Picasa

My precious baby went with me to HK :P wanna to bring her with me when I was with Sharon to KL but errr scare she laugh at me so I leave her at home instead kekeke Posted by Picasa Maybe I will bring her along when I went to BKK or KL again some time near New Year with Sharon hehehe. Sharon dont laugh at me hor :P

After checking into our hotel, changed and rested enough, we went out and explore around the place near our hotel.

We walked around and within mins we reached Temple St market :) so near but hmmm the market dont look the same when I first visited it in 1997. Now it was smaller and less busy. Or maybe cos it been raining that why but anyway, they dont sell that much things anymore and almost every stall sells the same stuff. Kel bought some DVDs which were of very good quality and even the packaging standard is GOOD too!!! And they only cost Kel HK$100 for 6 DVDs!! HK mean HK even pirated DVDs is so good!!

We had dinner at one of the small seafood resturant since it was our 5th Year Anniversary!!! First time our anniversary we went overseas to celebrate cos I dont count studying in Aussie as our overseas trip togehter. Didnt took any pics cos we were too busy eating and there were too many ppl in the resturant. So no pics for our dinner kekeke :P

After dinner, we walked for awhile more before tabao some dessert and returned to our hotel to watch the DVDs Kel bought :)

Our dessert for the night :) Posted by Picasa

The dessert werent that fantastic afterall, even when there was such a long quene waiting to get a table at the stall. Hmmm hiak hiak hiak. So next time dont trust the quene :P
