Trip to Sunshine Coast :)
Travelled to Sunshine Coast yesterday :) The drive there was bad :( cos I am afraid of height but I still got to drive up and down the mountain road which was so scary to me :( and the road looked so dangerous too.It was about an hour and 20 min drive when we reached our first stop Aussie World, the theme park, nothing much. As we reached there early so not much people were there, it was just like the theme park in Pasir Ris Park Singapore.
Next stop was Super Bee, the honey factory. We had honey tasting of different kind of honey, some tasted good some tasted yucky kekeke :) Darling bought a dozen and free one bottle of the sparkling honey back, that taste really nice and refreshing :) In fact today we had only 9 bottles left, 2 gone to HM and GH and we drank 2 bottles.
Forest Glen Sanctuary was next on the list, paid Aust $7.90 to go in. We were in there for around 20 mins. We looked at the koala, feed the deers, emu and kanganroos :)
Visited the famous Big Pineapple in Sunshine Coast. Nothing much to see there, somemore got to pay for everything apart from going into the shop and taking a far look at the pineapple field.
The scary part of the driving was to the Flaxton Grove Estate, winery & cellars and the town of Montville. The drive required me to drive up the mountain when look down was like errrrr in the middle of the sky, so high and I am scare of height but I still got to drive on the whole journey.
My friends had some wine tasting and one of them bought a bottle of the red wine. The view of the vineyard was magnificent, very pretty but so high.
Another 15 mins drive up the mountain is the small town of Montville. Lots of tourists was there. Had our lunch at one of the little resturant that serve quite nice food :) Shop around the shops there, and went to the famous candy shop, fludge shop etc. Some of the things in the shops attract me but too bad I am not working else I would have bought lots of things there :(
After Montville, we decided to end the trip for the day and returned to Brissy for dinner at Sunnybank cos it was already 4 plus in the afternoon, shops closes at 5pm, so didnt go to the town of Maleny, maybe next time when Hsio Wei and Soo Ching is here then go there.
